Who doesn’t love recognition and praise?

In fact, Mary Kay says “There are two things people want more than money, Recognition & Praise.

I would love to thank Jimmy and Tina an English and American couple who share their passion for travel and everyday life enjoyment with us via their amazing blog Durham’s love life & travel for nominating EFR International for the Bloggers recognition award. Thank you guys for considering us worth the nomination it’s an honor, I’m delighted and excited to accept the Blogger Recognition Award.

ACCEPTING, BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD & SHARING NOMINATIONS-EFR-International

I am grateful to my audience and the fabulous Bloggers who motivate me to grow each day to improvise and offer more than the day before. And my family and friends for supporting me on the journey I am taking.

My blogging journey began to be precise 11 months ago from now. Must say it’s really easy to work theoretically. Yes, I do confess before I started my blog my entire style of working was different in fact the exact word would be it was robotic and lacked the excitement to come back for it. What I had was just a desire and fire lit within me which connected me with my work plus it gave me as well as my Clients results but, the ‘x-factor’ and the spark which drove me and excited me to work on my projects was missing.

It was when I started blogging that I realized what was missing & the change blogging has bought within me.

If you don’t believe let me remind you, the actual reason I started blogging was just to drive traffic towards my website but as the entered the amazing Blogosphere it mechanics and robotics disappeared. I am a fun loving person who loves to connect with people rather than just work-related networking, and that’s the best part, blogging and connecting with amazing Bloggers is more fun than networking. Isn’t it?

Plus, what’s best is today is trying and testing i.e. I first try techniques out and then share the experiences with Clients as well as on the Blog. That was it’s more like back to my engineering days where we once completed our practical lab sessions used to write the journal with the followed procedure with our personal notes to it. Here rather there’s no procedure to follow it’s just about sharing the experiences and connecting with the audience to provide what they are searching or looking for!

The journey of the past 11 months may sound picture perfect, but we all know that’s not how life is, right?

We all have our ups and downs, so was the journey. Full of surprises, challenges, and fun and I loved it! Hope to grow the blog with time and improvise to help bloggers and businesses accomplish their dreams into reality!

Now like the rules say, ‘Two pieces of advice which I would like to share with new Bloggers would be

First and foremost being a new blogger myself with the running time of just 11 months I would say to you all,

It’s easy to begin, what’s difficult is to keep up with the pace. Many blogging sites are launched each day, however not all of them try and reach the position they aimed for, many who step up into Blogging or into starting Business are sometimes blinded by a misconception of overnight success, believe me, that’s not true. Whatever we try to do or accomplish overnight success can’t be true, even when we as kids begin our education it takes at least 22 – 24 years to complete the academic education to help us come out of the shell and start working on exploring ourselves and work practically on our passions and dreams. So how can the dream reach its goal in just a day, it won’t right!

Hence, once you begin, stay true to your goal and work on it. Let the pace be slow what must matter is to work on what you love and eventually you will reach the point or the position you had aimed for plus once you reach the same you need to work even harder to take it ahead as well.

The second piece of advice I would say is, be true to yourself because that’s what matters the most.  It helps in communicating your feelings wholeheartedly both with yourself and others, allowing your truth to flow through you and into the world and that’s the best way you can share your Personal Brand with the world. Plus, it helps you in having fun with what you are working on.

  1. Inspiring advice for new bloggers, Sushimita and great list of nominees. Recognition, particularly when starting out, does help to boost motivation.

  2. Congrats on your award, Sushmita. I can sense your joy in blogging and am glad you are enjoying the journey as I, too, have found that blogging is a joy in my life. It has introduced me to many amazing people, created wonderful opportunities, and given me a platform to work my dreams.

  3. Congratulations on your second blogging award Sushmita!
I had no idea you have been blogging for just under a year. Great tips for those starting a new blog. It is fun and encouraging when others benefit from your blog but it takes commitment and dedication to hang in there even when you are not seeing the results you are expecting.

  4. Sushmita — congratulations on your award and I admire how far you’ve come in just 11 short months. It’s had to believe but I’ve been blogging for 8 years! It started out as a lark and turned into a business. I’ve built online relationships with some wonderful bloggers in our BHB group over the years. I feel that we’ve become friends with our shared interest in blogging and appreciation for each other’s blogs.

  5. Congratulations..I started blogging a month back after creating The One Drop Down Consumer Electronics Market http://speclabz.com. Being in the electronics industry for 15 years, i have understood that creating value is far more important than Recognition or praise. But it could certainly be a derivative of good work:)..

  6. Blogging is for sure a journey of ups and downs. Some weeks are good and some weeks you just feel unmotivated to do anything. Congrats on your successes!

  7. Congratulation on both the awards!Your blogging journey is so inspiring and hard work pays off! I’m wishing you all the best with your future blogging endeavours! keep up the good work and the inspiration! Hugs!

  8. Congratulations on your blog award Shushmita. Kudos also to you for paying it forward and nominating others. I was happy to see that I actually follow one of the blogs on your list.

  9. Congrats on the blog award! I love reading about how people got starting blogging, and the advice was helpful. Staying true to yourself is so important.

  10. Congratulations on your nomination for the award, it’s lovely to receive recognition even though you’ve only been blogging 11 months. So good of you to share such helpful advice as well! 🙂

Hope you have had a good week and have a lovely weekend ahead of you 🙂
