Hey, Chaps!

How are you all?

Today I share an interview with one more amazing lady who inspires me and is loved by most of the Bloggers; her name is Anna Runyan.

She is the founder of ClassyCareerGirl she is passionate about helping women who want to make a difference in the world. Plus, one can easily say her website is an e-learning platform designed to be a one-stop-shop for all women in career transition.

Want to know more about her and her Blog? Check the interview out!

Interview with Anna Runyan

My first Question to you Anna would be, How does it feel when your students share their results as well as success stories with you?

More than anything, I am proud of them. It’s their story and their results. Changing careers and launching a business is not easy! So more than anything, I am inspired and motivated by them especially when they have pushed past the tough times and made their goals happen.

How has the journey which began in 2010 till date motivated you and changed you as a person?

My journey has showed me that anything is possible with hard work and that there is nothing that I can’t do. Belief in myself is something that has changed in myself after having a dream and making it happen. I’m a lot more fulfilled and happier and I know what my dream career is.

Next is a standard basic question ‘What does a typical day in your week look like? & Do you like a well-planned schedule or to work haphazardly?’

This post on my website outlines my typical day: A Day In My Life as Mompreneur: Monday

Isn’t that cool she has her detailed day schedule shared with her readers 😇 right from waking up to ending the work day. Her Monday schedule and Tuesdays look very similar while Wednesdays through Fridays she normally takes NO client calls. On these days she focuses on creating and working on things that need more focus.

With the changing calendar, what different do you think one needs to focus on today when it comes to starting their business in comparison to when you began? How much has the industry changed since you have stepped in?

This post outlines current changes in career coaching to answer your question: How to Succeed as a Career Coach and Current Industry Trends it’s a Podcast #49 check it out! Here

In her post, she also shares 15 Quick Steps one must take now!

My Blog is 09 months old I am working to grow the audience connected with me as well as my Blog. What I am currently working on is to build a community who connect with me and my writing instead of a just an email list which is growing. I believe it must be both at the same time i.e. connections & not just subscribers. What do you say? Am I on the right track?

Both are required. I’m glad you have any email list. I would really have to know what your end goal is and what type of business you are growing. But you are on the right track of focusing on website traffic and then also email list growth. Plus, this article will help.

After being listed on the ‘Forbes 35 Most Influential Career Sites’ has anything changed for you? Plus, what is the key to your success?

It’s nice to be able to share that award for my brand to show that I have worked hard and it distinguishes my brand from other career sites out there. Here are my success principles

We all have our USP, what is yours? And how can we find ours?

Our vision is career fulfillment for all women, whether that is working for a company, running your own business or running your home.

Of the upcoming Bloggers you know, name a few of your favorites. I know it must be difficult for you to select but still if you have to choose five names who would they be?

To be honest, I don’t read many other bloggers or career sites. I don’t want to copy and I find it really distracts me focusing on what others are doing. In the state of this world of online noise, you really have to focus on your own mission and vision.

What about you, if shared will surprise us?

I used to be a competitive figure skater. 🙂 And, I am an introvert and don’t love networking.

Also, lastly before we take a leave, and words of wisdom you would love to share with the audience?
Take imperfect action and baby steps everyday.

Hope you had some good time checking out the conversation.
